Holdem Spy to maintain his proud Coventry record in Newry Hill Standard Div A
Holdem Spy boasts a proud record at Coventry, and has registered plenty of magnificent victories over 485 metres. The black dog is all set to add more to that this Sunday, as he aims to strike in the Newry Hill Standard Div A.
He has been producing very good results over the past couple of months. After two fantastic wins in August, he could not continue the winning rhythm, and faced an unlucky loss on September 9th.
C. Weatherall?s charge quickly got his act together, and completed a wonderful hat-trick recently. Ahead of taking a break of almost three weeks, he took a comprehensive 2-length win over Mays Gold.
Perpetuating the fine work, the son of Hondo Black bagged a couple of marvellous triumphs earlier this month. After a classy 3?-length success, the dashing hound proved too strong for the opposition in mid October, when securing the first place by a length?s distance.
Winning five of the previous six races shows how good momentum he is in. So, there is no reason why he should not come up with a fascinating act this time around.
Among his rivals are: Lionhearted Andy, Shaneboy William, Gemstone Annie, Forest Force and Slick Signature. The action is due to get started at 20:30 GMT. A cash prize of 200 pounds is reserved for the ultimate champion.
As far as Gemstone Annie?s case is concerned, only A-game will suffice in this contest. On the other hand, Forest Force is in decent form these days. He clinched a classy win here at the end of last month. Trained by H. Dimmock, the son of Royal Impact is likely to play a major role in today?s race.
It has been a while since Slick Signature past the post in front. Shaneboy William will struggle to get competitive if falling out of the boxes. Lionhearted Andy looks an obvious danger clad in the stripes.
All votes go to Holdem Spy, who is in superb shape at the moment. The draw is not a concern for the black dog. So, it is highly likely that he will grab a straightforward win today. Good luck to all.
